How to write a resume during economic recession

With economic recession, for each position there are a large number of applicants and recruiters have issues handing resumes. Here are 8 tips you can include your resume in order to get your resume recognized and get optimized results.

• Portray Achievements: Don't mess up your resume only describing job responsibilities. Include your achievements and the unique work in your career you have done.

• Give References: Take out recommendations from sites like LinkedIn, Performance reviews or customer 'thank you' letters and add them on your resume.

• Uniqueness about You: Try to contact your previous employers and ask for your skills which make you unique. Keeping in mind the unique skills, try to include them in your CV.

• Personal Branding: If you have blog, Twitter profile, you can always mention them on your resume. This will add more credibility to your profile. this may rank your resume high.

• Don’t Use Objective: Instead of an objective giving out possibilities you can start your resume with how your skills can add value to the organization that recruits you.

• Your Work Approach: Instead of the traditional work terms use words like “You have the ability to understand”, “Build relationships”, “Have knowledge”, and “Organize”.

• Describe Your Personality: Some people use resumes of others and revise them, instead make your resume more practical and a document which describes your personality rather exaggerating.

• Get Resume Verified: Over 45% resumes contain false statements or misrepresentations. Aware that bad hires cost businesses billions of dollars in losses every year, 86% of recruiters in a recent survey done by Crederity prefer to review resumes listing credentials that have been verified. Thanks for info, but I don't think that resumes must be changed significantly for this reason

Good info but your resume shouldn't be affected that much by the GFC. It should still focus on selling yourself, and telling the organization WHY YOU are the right person for the job, and why YOU would be an asset to the company

Another point that I would like to add is that it is best that you don't degrade or write negatively about your previous employer in your resume.

Good information for perfect resume but i don't think so that its just for economic-recession. We can use these tips for normal resume and make it impressive.

The best thing to do while making a resume is to be honest and express what you are.
