Personal Interest & Hobby
Has a particular personal interest/Hobby ever helped anyone on a CV or an interview? I don't know much detail I should include on this, I've known people who have gone for interviews and were mostly asked about some experience not really related to the job. Could this be an advantage & does anyone have any experience of this?
Thank You |

Personally - I would include something on your CV about your hobbies but I would keep it down to two small things.
I generally run to the rule of having 2 pages on my CV and then two lines on my hobby. It's worth mentioning that you should actually know something about your hobby too. I once put on my CV that I was a big fan of restaurants. My interviewer was also a big fan of restaurants and it turned out that my favourite restaurant was where he actually got married a few years before. The conversation we had about restuarants was probably what secured me my job in the end - so it's definitely worth remembering! Dosing Tanks Chemical Tanks Tanks and Bunds |

Personal hobby and interest should be one that show your strength as such put your image either active, intelligent or multitasker. But your hobbies should not be more then 3 or 4.
