I have come to know how to present a perfect resume, and the tips provided was really useful. Most of the people including myself are doing mistakes even in pronouncing the word. Now I have a clear idea about do's and don'ts while preparing resume. Kindly provide some more tips like this.

Resum Tips

Use common fonts like Times Roman, Courier, and Bookman.
bullet Use a font size of at least 11 points for Courier, and 12 points for Times Roman or Bookman.
bullet Do not use condensed or expanded spacing between the letters.
bullet Use left margin justification. Do not use both right and left justification because it stretches letter and word spacing.
bullet Avoid italics, underlines, boxes, shadow or shading effects, or reversed colors.
bullet Eliminate braces, brackets, graphics, tabs or hard returns at the end of the line.
bullet Do not use horizontal or vertical lines.

Additional Tips:

* Avoid dark, multicolored, or textured paper.
* When faxing your resume, set the fax to "fine mode" to ensure that we get the best-quality copy of your resume possible.

* Please include the Job Number on the cover letter or right side of your resume. Also, please tell us where you viewed our job listing.

CV is a document of self-promotion that presents you in the best light possible in order to be invited for an interview. This is not an official document of the staff.
