This is the topic of discussion very difficult in my opinion. If I am an employer I would probably consider promoting, as in most jobs you get paid for what you sell or are just extra income to your salary.
I read many different answers on the topic, I would say, this is fantastic discussion BTW. |

I think its depend on your performance and attention towards your work. Senior also consider some other factors like your behaviour, regularity, involvement in projects at the time of increment. We can't avoid the current policies of company.
