Salary Increment
Hi all,
There is different procedure in every company for making increments in salary. Sometimes one gets huge increments in small time and other get small increment in big time. Can you tell me what are the actual factors behind this? ![]() |

I agree it depend on your performance your punctuality and regularity these are important factors towards your job increment, one important factor is your participation and involvement in projects etc

Don't storm into the boss' room with an ad-hoc request for a raise. Plan an appointment and have a strategy. Speak to trusted colleagues, friends and people from the industry and get some information on what a normal raise is for someone with your profile and experience. Also take your boss's mood into account.
Write a note to your boss without stating the precise reason for the meeting. Say it is to discuss a personal matter, to discuss your development or present an idea. If you say you want to ask for an increment, your boss is likely to say 'No' on the spot. Here is a sample note you could send to fix an appointment: |

I am working in MNC but this year has increased by only 3%. I am sad and ashamed of what ABT. I try to fight for more with my boss and HR. I was told by the High Representative, the increase is fair and follow the market rate. I am so curious that the growth of other MNC is also in this range.

Salary proposals should conform to the Company's current policies, practices and attitudes as presented in manual.Actually in software company salary depends up on the numb.If you work hard you will be Team leader initially later will be in management position and salary is very high.
